With that we are looking to talk to seasoned Business Development professionals with strong networks and proven success in Healthcare, Pharmaceuticals and Patient Services industries. The ideal candidate will live in or have access to the major metropolitan areas in the Northeast or along the Eastern Seaboard. We are also interested in speaking with from the Pittsburgh, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, San Francisco and Santa Monica markets. As a Senior Director of Business Development will manage, promote and lead sales with client executives, partners and agencies. You will work collaboratively with Business Line Management, Sales and Sales Operations, and Senior Management to grow the business. Essential Functions Identify, build, and maintain strong relationships with customers and prospects to drive revenue in support of monthly, quarterly, and yearly revenue targets. Lead prospecting, up-selling, and follow-up for targeted leads. Lead selling effort on both an operational and strategic basis. Manage expenses to be at or below expense plan. Optimize dollars spent by maximizing number of accounts and prospects visited on any given sales trip. Constructs a formal business plan for ConnectiveRx Business Programs, with critical focus on sales activities targeted down to the market segment and individual customer and/or partner level. Ensure strong ongoing integrated promotion of selected target products and services. Meets or exceeds both qualitative and quantitative sales and revenue goals on a consistent basis through development of new prospects, assisting in qualifying leads and closing sales for ConnectiveRx programs. Develop key metrics and analytics related to sales pipeline and prospects and regularly evaluate effectiveness of sales strategy and activities. Oversee collection of CRM data and ensure system is up to date and accurate. KnowledgeExcellent working knowledge of the business development process, financial management, and marketing. SkillsOrganizational and interpersonal skills are critical to this position Effective time management is essential along with the ability to multi-task. A demonstrated keen sense of relationship building is needed. Must be computer proficient and be detail oriented. EducationB.S. or B.A., Business or Science. MBA preferred.
